What began as growing Shiitake mushrooms naturally without chemicals on 300 logs has grown to a laying yard of over a thousand logs. The majority of the 90 acre farm contains mature hardwoods so growing mushrooms through log cultivation in the shade of trees complements existing resources.
Currently, mushrooms are grown indoors and outdoors without chemicals from organic spawn. Mushrooms include Shiitake, Oyster, Wine Cap, Chestnut, Lion’s Mane, Pioppini and Almond.
